One of the board’s more recent members, Dalton serves as a guiding resource to all those involved with the organization. She gets connected with the girls “on a heartfelt level,” and excels at “gently encouraging but not browbeating [the board]... she gives us lots of support and encouragement.” Other members describe her as “amazing” and “dynamic.” Jen authored Of Butterflies & Bullies (2020), a book about overcoming bullying, and is passionate about empowering young women and girls to be their authentic selves. Her expertise in community food systems and communications is well-matched with our mission and goals for the future; she is passionate about following through on Hearthstone's potential and eager to seek out new opportunities.
