2020 - 2021 NEWs
During the global pandemic, we were able to not only stay afloat as an organization, with the efforts of our communities in both Haiti and Baja, we achieved the following:
Created a Survival Fund and sent over $10,000 to Haiti to secure food stores and pay wages in advance to support our staff during the pandemic.
We sent money to Baja to buy medical supplies and critical food stores.
Despite being out of school for several months due to the pandemic, as well as civil unrest, 5 additional girls graduated high school (making it a total of 10 girls graduated) and 4 girls started higher education courses and/or university studies.
We started a Higher Education Fund to support the unexpected costs of 10 girls pursuing post high school education.
