Belove (age 20)

Belove is also a graduating NS4 student who is studying for the high school graduation tests online, given the COVID-19 pandemic. So typical of Belove’s tenacity, she’s been online daily for hours working with a teacher and the texts available to her.
Belove is good at most things she does, but she excels especially in math. She often rises to a challenge and is disappointed when she’s not first in her class. She’s determined to do well on the NS4 end-of-year test, despite the school closures.
After she graduates, she hopes to continue her education at a Port au Prince university, focusing on business. Her long-term goal is to become a business woman in international enterprises and eventually return to Haiti to support the orphanage financially.
She is definitely an extrovert who enjoys being around people. Her sense of humor is strong, but her friendly teasing can be tough at times. She loves people, and her innate curiosity means that she takes great pleasure in learning about the visitors to the orphanage.
